OPP issue a $960 ticket to driver who failed to properly secure 4 kids under 8 in vehicle

An Ontario driver has to pay a hefty ticket for not having children properly secured in a vehicle.
The driver was stopped by Caledon OPP during a RIDE check.
OPP Central Region released a post today Jan. 28 advising drivers to properly secure children.
“$960 price tag for a quick car ride for one driver after 4 passengers under the age of 8 were found not properly secured in vehicle.
Seat belts save lives, but only work if worn.”
