An Ontario driver has to pay a hefty ticket for not having children properly secured in a vehicle.

The driver was stopped by Caledon OPP during a RIDE check.

OPP Central Region released a post today Jan. 28 advising drivers to properly secure children.

“$960 price tag for a quick car ride for one driver after 4 passengers under the age of 8 were found not properly secured in vehicle.

Seat belts save lives, but only work if worn.”
