ONTARIO - Ontario high school teachers will take part in another one-day, full withdrawal of services next Wednesday, December 11. Teachers will also hold pickets in front of schools, MPPs offices and other locations.
At a Dec 6. press conference Education Minister Stephen Lecce said he’s learned the OSSTF will take further job action. He repeated that the union hasn’t moved on anything.
Lecce said he is “naming and shaming” the union for not willing to budge from its 2 percent wage increase demand. He has also referred to the Dec 11 one-day strike as “completely unacceptable.”
